COYLE Wine Cork Board

My first D.I.Y. project idea came from Pinterest.  As some of you know Justin and I love wine! We have a collection of corks from wines that we've sampled during our time here.  I knew I wanted to use the corks for home decor, and this was a great way for me to incorporate our (new) marriage in our new apartment.  The final piece is proudly displayed in our dining room - along with with all our wine connoisseur stuff!

Materials
Wooden "C" board (can be purchased at Michael's)
Hot glue gun
Wine corks
Blade (or any knife sharp enough to cut through cork)
Wooden base board
Spray Paint
Newspapers

Instructions
1.Using the blade, cut individual wine corks in half (BE CAREFUL).
2.  Arrange wine corks on tope of the wooden "C" board to create the layout.  *You may need to cut cork into smaller pieces to fill the spaces.
3. Turn on hot glue gun, and when warm enough place the the glue on the back of halved corks. *Do this quickly before the hot glue hardens.
4.  *DO THIS STEP OUTSIDE.  Lay out newspaper and place your base board on top.  Begin to spay paint according to directions.   Let paint dry for 24 hours.
5.  Once paint is dry, center and glue the back of the "C" board to the base board.
6.  Find a place to display and admire your work!
