Versailles

One of our favorite restaurants in South Florida was first introduced to us by our friend Alejo when we first moved down here.  It is one of the hottest spots for Cuban food, amazing desserts, and colada (Cuban espresso).  Versailles is located in the famous "Calle Ocho" in Miami, Florida.  It boasts an extensive menu, an impressive restaurant with a gigantic seating area, and a bakery full of decadent treats.

All of the desserts Justin and I have tried are delicious.  However, there is one indulgence that we always order...the "Mousse Eiffel."  The rich dome-shaped chocolate mousse melts in your mouth and is so delightful!

Colada and the beautiful desserts of Versailles Bakery including "Mousse Eiffel (lower left)".

If you ever take a trip to Miami, this is a must see.  It is a unique place to experience the Cuban culture and influence, as well as a wonderful place to have some great food!
